Pages Predicted to Be Spam

What: Pages we predict to be similar to spam, such as from malware/phishing/recidivist fake accounts, those gaining distribution they would not otherwise get through activities such as Page merge abuse (where Pages are merged in a way that results in substantial changes to the original Page’s subject matter), those using fake engagement to boost ranking, those asking Page fans to share the content, those repetitively sharing irrelevant content, or those auto-creating entities with scripted activity.

Why: We want to ensure the platform is not abused by spammers seeking to artificially increase their distribution. We limit the spread of spam to prevent false advertising, fraud, and security breaches, all of which detract from people's ability to authentically share and connect.
